by lindawilkinson on 9 June, 2013

I’m pleased that Kirklees Council has secured funding to alleviate congestion at pinch points. The junction handles high volumes of local traffic and traffic heading to and […]

Following a consultation by Metro and my campaign, an additional 342 bus service from the Town Centre to Almondbury has been introduced on Monday to Friday. It leaves the Bus Station at 6.05pm. However, the bus will only run for a trial period of six months, after which its future will be reviewed. This new […]

by lindawilkinson on 6 December, 2008

Much of the pavement and road along Fenay Bridge Road is in a poor state. We have convinced Kirklees Officers that this needs action and Fenay Bridge Road will be resurfaced by next April. Money from the developers of Fenay Bridge Park Estate will be used to repair the pavement.

Wakefield Road/Fenay Bridge Road bus shelter

by lindawilkinson on 6 December, 2008

This is a very popular bus shelter. Unfortunately in poor weather you are likely to get cold and wet standing here. We have asked Metro to turn the shelter around to protect you from being splashed by passing traffic in wet weather, when waiting for the bus. We will keep you informed.
