Plans to re-develop the Rose and Crown site in Almondbury have been put on hold. The applicants are going to revise their proposals following concerns from residents and English Heritage.
The application includes a new building for the Co-Op, new shops and businesses with residential accommodation above, a landscaped courtyard and parking.
Your Lib Dem team are supportive of investment in the village and delighted that the developer is willing to listen and respond to local people’s concerns. We’ve always fought to boost the village’s economy while protecting its unique character. We hope that in this case the applicant will produce plans which the majority of local people support.Leave a comment
